Christmas Pictures

Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson came to visit this weekend, and we all had a lot of fun. We got some cute pictures of Addy by the tree. Check out her cute shiny new red shoes! :)

Addy's new trick

Addy is becoming quite good at rolling over. Here is a clip to prove it. :)

Cereal :)

Addy has been trying to eat cereal for the past couple of weeks. She is getting better at it, but it is still very messy! :) Here is a clip from this morning. :)

Addy rolled over!

Our big news this weekend is that Addy rolled over. I missed it because I was at work, but JC was home. :) She has not rolled over again since Saturday, but she sure get close. I am sure it will not be long before she gets the hang of it.
We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We got to see pretty much all of our family that lives close by. :) We are looking forward to Christmas already. We are going to get our tree and start decorating next weekend. :)

Trying to roll over!

This past week Addy has really been trying to roll over, but she can't quite do it yet! She has been sleeping really well though, so that is good. :) Enjoy the picture and movie!

Fall Update :)

Last weekend we headed to Peru for Addy's baptism. It was a very fun but busy weekend. We went to Olivia's first birthday party on Saturday afternoon, then the baptism was Saturday night after church. Angie, Ron, and Alex spent the day with us and it was really fun. On Sunday we went to Josh and Shane's birthday party and then we stopped at Heather and Parke's house on our way home.
Addy and Olivia celebrated Halloween together this year. Addy was not amused to have a costume on, but we got a couple of cute pictures. :)

Fall is Here!

Log Home Update

We are making progress on journey to start building a log home. This past week we visited two log home companies to try to get a better idea of which one we want to use. We headed to Tennessee on Sunday with Addy to check out one company. We stayed for a few days and then headed back home. It was a fun trip, and Addy did great. :) JC's parents came down on Tuesday night to stay with Addy while JC and I headed to Idaho to check out the other company. It was hard to be away from Addy, but we knew she was in great hands and we had a lot of fun. We are pretty sure that we are going to go with Precision Craft in Idaho, and we will make our final decision very soon and start the design process within a month. We are very excited!
Addy has still been very chatty lately. :) Grandma Pauletta said she almost laughed while we were gone and is sure that she will be laughing within a few weeks. :) She is so much fun. I am really dreading going back to work! I will try to keep this updated with pictures soon. :)

Addy Update

Addy has become much more vocal lately. She is constantly making cute noises now. She also has a new trick. She sucks her thumb. :) It is really cute! JC had her sitting up yesterday. I walked into the living room, and he had her sitting up on the couch. It was so cute. She did not last long before she tipped over. She has to go to the doctor this week for a check-up and a lot of shots. Yuck! I sure hope they do them very fast! On Saturday Addy and I are making a trip to Lafayette to see the girls from Purdue. It should be very fun! Enjoy the pictures!

A Visit From Kelly & Olivia

Addy and I have been having a lot of fun this week. Kelly and Olivia are visiting, and Eric is coming for the weekend. Olivia loves to watch Addison and imitate her noises and position. It is so cute. She also is in love with Addison's pacifier and takes it any chance she gets. :) Olivia is patting her as I type this. :)
In other news, Addy slept for 7 1/2 hours the other night. It was great. She is still usually going about 6 1/2, but I think she is on her way!
Addy and I are heading to Peru next week to visit the grandmas and grandpas. This will probably be the last chance we get to go there before I have to go back to work.

Addy's First Picnic

We took Addy to the orchard today for a picnic. She slept through most of it, but we were able to get a few shots of her awake. She has been so much fun lately. She smiles a ton and is making quite a few cute noises. Enjoy the pictures!

Nightly News

Our major news this week all has to do with sleeping. :) On Monday night Addy slept for 6 1/2 hours! It was so nice. :) Last night she had her first night of sleep in her crib. She did fine - I had a tough time. I missed being able to roll over and see her. :( I know it is silly, but it was really hard for her to be in her own bed. She slept 5 1/2 hours last night. I hope we are on the road to sleeping through the night. I will post new pictures soon.

Poor Addy

Addy had to go to the doctor today for her 6 week check-up. This included a shot - she did not like that part! The doctor said she looks great. She is in the 50th percentile for length and 40th for weight. The doctor also said she has very good head control for her age and we should keep up all of the tummy time. She loves to be on her tummy. :) I included a picture of her after the appointment with her first band-aid. Enjoy the pics. :)

A Trip to the Doctor

Today I was a paranoid mom and took Addy to the doctor. Her nose has been very stuffy for the past couple of days and she keeps coughing/choking on the stuff draining down her throat. She also has not been eating as much as usual. The doctor told me I was doing everything I could for her. I have been using a vaporizer and using saline drops in her nose. She said it was just a cold and everything else looks great. She does not have a fever and is in good health besides the congestion. I probably should not have taken her, but the choking scared me, and it was nice to be reassured that she is fine. She seems a little better tonight, but is still stuffy. I will have to post more pictures soon. She is getting cuter every day. :)
