Poor Addy

Addy had to go to the doctor today for her 6 week check-up. This included a shot - she did not like that part! The doctor said she looks great. She is in the 50th percentile for length and 40th for weight. The doctor also said she has very good head control for her age and we should keep up all of the tummy time. She loves to be on her tummy. :) I included a picture of her after the appointment with her first band-aid. Enjoy the pics. :)

A Trip to the Doctor

Today I was a paranoid mom and took Addy to the doctor. Her nose has been very stuffy for the past couple of days and she keeps coughing/choking on the stuff draining down her throat. She also has not been eating as much as usual. The doctor told me I was doing everything I could for her. I have been using a vaporizer and using saline drops in her nose. She said it was just a cold and everything else looks great. She does not have a fever and is in good health besides the congestion. I probably should not have taken her, but the choking scared me, and it was nice to be reassured that she is fine. She seems a little better tonight, but is still stuffy. I will have to post more pictures soon. She is getting cuter every day. :)

Lots of Company

This past week Addison has had a ton of visitors. :) Last Friday JC's sister, mom, and Annabel came to visit and help us out. JC was out of town for a wedding, and it was awesome to have the help! :) Angie, Ron, and Alex made a trip down from Lafayette to meet Addison and introduce us to Alex. Kelly, Eric, and Olivia got here on Sunday night. They have been hanging out with us all week and helping out a lot. Kelly has been cooking up a storm, and Olivia is getting to know Addison. :) On Monday, my parents, grandma Mavis, aunt Karen, and aunt Carol came to visit. We all had a really good time catching up. It has been a fun but very busy week. I will post some new pictures soon.
