More Pictures

Addison wanted to share some more pictures. These are from her first bath - she did not have a fun time. There are also some from her first visit from Sam and Kaelin. They really had a good time holding her. :) She has been so good so far. I love hanging out with her all day. JC headed to Scott's wedding today and will be back on Sunday. He was sad to have to leave her. We will post more soon.

Fun Day

We had a fun day with Addison today. She made her first trip out today. We went to the doctor and to Walgreens. The doctor's appointment went really well. Addison is up to 6 lbs and 4 oz. She is growing very fast! :) The doctor said everything looks great, and Addy was very good during her appointment. We also took our first walk tonight. She was asleep the entire time, but I think she had fun. :) We are having a great time with our little girl. Enjoy the pictures!

Addison Update

Kelly has been hounding me to post some new pictures, and Addison is taking a nap now so I have a free minute. The last few days have gone by so quickly. It is so nice to have our little girl at home with us. She is doing really well, and we are both so excited to be parents. We are still pretty unsure of quite a few things (I am sure Kelly and Heather have our number on their caller id a million times) but we are getting the hang of it. :) Enjoy the pictures!

Addison Kate is Here!

We are excited to announce that Addison Kate was born on Thursday, July 17th at 3:22 pm. She weighed 6 lbs and was 19 inches long. It was quite the birth story, and I will post more details later! Look at our photo album for pictures! :)

Not much news

I went back to the doctor yesterday hoping they would have some exciting news for me, but no such luck. I am still at 1 cm, but I am now 90% effaced. The doctor said I could stay like that for awhile though. :( I had a ton of contractions Sunday night and yesterday morning, but they have calmed down quite a bit. Dr. P. did say he would induce me Monday if she is not here yet, so the end is definitely in sight. I just hope she decides to make her grand entrance before Monday. JC thinks she is comfortable where she is. :) I will keep everyone updated on any developments.

B-9 Update

I went back to the doctor today for another weekly check. They decided to "check me" to see how I am progressing. I am 1 cm dilated and 30% effaced, so I am making progress. :) The nurse practitioner thinks it should be a week or less now, but JC has his doubts. He seems to think she is going to take her time coming. We will have to wait and see. We are definitely excited and ready for her to get here. I will keep the blog updated. :)

It's Finally July!

July is finally here, so hopefully that means the baby will be here soon. I went to the doctor yesterday and he said everything looks good. I have not been feeling any different than usual except that my back hurts pretty bad. I sure hope she decides to come on time. JC is convinced she is going to be late, but I hope not! We are both very excited to meet her.
